Georges River Sailing Club
Established in 1927, Georges River Sailing Club is a long-standing waterfront venue on the shores of Botany Bay. Following a $12 million transformation, the Club has been reimagined as a contemporary social and dining destination while remaining a proud community hub.
With sweeping views across Dolls Point Beach, the Club now features Porta Dining, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, a vibrant sports bar for casual dining and live sport, and a dedicated cocktail bar serving exclusive creations by Maybe Sammy. Guests can also enjoy an enhanced entertainment line-up and versatile event spaces for 25 to 250 guests, perfect for weddings, milestone celebrations, corporate events and community gatherings.
The Club also boasts a proud sailing history, originally racing 16ft Skiffs. The open sailing waters of Botany Bay are recognised as ideal for juniors to learn and progress. With the sandy beach area and the large grassed rigging and direct access to the water, the Club has hosted regattas for many interstate and international teams. During the season you can watch the juniors of different skills racing around in front of the club.
Just 20 minutes from Sydney Airport, Georges River Sailing Club combines history, hospitality and a spectacular bayside setting.
