Frequently Asked Questions

How can I place an order?

All orders can be placed via https://southernsydneycatering.orderup.com.au/stores. Quotes can be requested in writing via email to orders@southernsydneycatering.com.au. Our friendly customer service team is also more than happy to answer any of your questions over the phone prior to receiving your written request on 02 9113 8861.
Please note minimum order amount is $120.

When is the cut off order time?

  • – Order for Monday, cut off is 2pm Friday.
  • – Order for Tuesday, cut off is 2pm Saturday.
  • – Order for Wednesday, cut off is 2pm Monday.
  • – Order for Thursday, cut off is 2pm Tuesday.
  • – Order for Friday, cut off is 2pm Wednesday.
  • – Order for Saturday, cut off is 2pm Thursday
  • – Order for Sunday, cut off is 2pm Friday.

Last minute orders may be accepted between 2pm and 4pm, and are subject to availability.
Requests that are sent through after business hours will be viewed the following morning. Late orders are accepted based on availability and may not have a choice of all menu items. Late orders accepted after 4pm will be subject to a surcharge.

What are the delivery times?

Our delivery times are as the following:

Monday to Saturday: 7am to 5pm | Sunday: 9am to 3pm

What is the delivery fee? 

$15 for deliveries within 5km.
$25 for deliveries within 6-10km.

My event is not going forward. Can I cancel my order?

Order cancellations must be made at minimum 48 hours prior to pick up or delivery time if an order or delivery is to be made Tuesday – Friday. Any cancellation for an order or delivery due on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday needs to be made the Thursday prior to delivery before by 2pm.

I opted in for pick up. Where do I collect my order?

Southern Sydney Catering orders must be collected from Sanoni Avenue, Sandringham, NSW 2219 at the agreed date and time. Southern Sydney Catering takes no liability for any orders not collected by the customer outside of this agreed location and time.

How long do the platters last for?

Generally, Southern Sydney Catering recommends our food is consumed within four (4) hours of the time of your delivery. Southern Sydney Catering takes no liability for any food consumed after this time.

My colleague is nut free. Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Please be advised, while we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination of allergens in our kitchen, we cannot guarantee that our food has not come in contact with common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, or shellfish.
If your guests have any food allergies or sensitivities, please inform us so we can take all necessary precautions to minimize the risk of cross-contamination.
